NANCY LIVINGSTON OBITUARY
BENNINGTON, VERMONT
Mrs. Nancy Jean Livingston, 84, a resident of Grant Street in Bennington died on Wednesday, January 9, 2019. She is the widow of Roger G. Livingston, Sr.
She was born in Bennington, VT, on October 8, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Gladys (Rose) Knapp. Nancy received her education in Bennington schools. Mr. and Mrs. Livingston were married in Bennington on October 10, 1959 and they renewed their vows at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in October 1999.
In earlier years, Mrs. Livingston was employed at Polygraphic Company in North Bennington and Thomson Manufacturing in Bennington.
She was a former member of the Woman of the Moose #1018, American Legion Auxiliary. She loved doing crossword puzzles, playing cards and bowling.
Nancy is survived by four children; Roger G. (Anna) Livingston, Jr. Shirley Miller and Dawn (Philip) Guerard, all of Bennington and Robin (John) LaFountain of North Bennington, VT. She leaves twelve grandchildren, ten great grandsons, four step-grandchildren, and seven step great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Mildred Harrington of Bennington and one brother, Arthur Knapp of Bennington, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her husband, Roger Sr., and infant son, Edward, one sister; Elaine Davis, and two brothers; Charles 'Bud" Knapp and Herbert Knapp as well as two sons-in-law: Bruce Miller, and Mike Julius.
Friends may call at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home, 628 Main St., Bennington on Sunday from 3PM until 5PM.
The funeral services will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019 at St. Peter's Episcopal Church at 11:00 AM Burial will take place in the Village Cemetery on Morgan Street.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family through the Go Fund Me Account, Bayada Nurses and Hospice, Community Cancer Crusaders or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital through the funeral home.
