Nancy S. Estes (Bacon)

October 28, 1963 — August 5, 2017

Nancy S. Estes, 53, a resident of Arthur's Drive in Bennington died Saturday August 5, 2017 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Memorial Hospital in Hanover, New Hampshire following a long illness.

She was born in Bennington, VT October 28, 1963. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Marjorie (DeForge) Bacon. She received her education in Bennington and was a 1982 graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School.

She married Kevin Estes at the home of her grandmother on June 15, 1985.

In earlier years Nancy was employed at Mack Molding, Price Chopper, St. Gobain, Catamount School and the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center. She also owned and operated her own day care business.

Nancy enjoyed flowers and her garden. Her family was her main interest

Survivors include her husband Kevin Estes of Bennington. A daughter, Jessica Ann Estes and a son Jacob James Estes both of Bennington. A grandson Desmond Maximus Estes of Bennington. One brother, Benjamin R. Bacon of Bennington. An aunt, Nancy Frechette of Bennington and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was pre-deceased by a sister Deborah A. Stroehlein.

At Nancy's request the services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

The burial will take place in the family lot at the Village Cemetery in Bennington.
