Monalisa D. Frost, 70, a resident of Monmouth, ME, passed away Monday, January 29th at her residence, surrounded by her family. She was born May 26, 1953, in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, the daughter of Kenneth H. Cameron and Henrieta R. (McClaren) Cameron. She was educated at the Bennington, Vermont schools and received her G.E.D. On October 3, 1970, in Bennington, she married Thomas W. Frost Sr. She worked for several years as a CNA for Androscoggin Home Hospice and a nurse’s aide at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston, Maine. Mona enjoyed reading, going to the ocean, cookouts, and spending time with family. She is survived by her two sons, Thomas W. Frost, Jr. of Monmouth, Scott R. Cameron, and wife Susan of Monmouth, seven grandchildren, Mikayla and Breeana Cameron, Alicia McIntire, Kara Frost, Dominic Frost, Christopher Newton, Damian Frost, several great-grandchildren, a brother, Gary Cameron and wife Cindy of Bennington, VT, a brother-in-law, Billy Frost and wife Lynn of Pownal, VT, her sister-in-law, Kathleen (Frost) Pratt of Louisiana and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Thomas W. Frost Sr., a daughter, Tammy Frost, a brother, Larry Cameron, and a brother-in-law, Joey Frost. Funeral services will be held Tuesday February 6, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Mahar Funeral Home, 628 Main Street, Bennington, Vermont 05201. Burial will follow at White Chapel Cemetery, Chapel Road, Bennington, Vermont 05201. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday February 6, 2024, from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM.
