Michael Peter Wilson

July 23, 1950 — November 15, 2024

Michael Peter Wilson, son of Joseph and Grace Wilson, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024. He grew up on Fillmore Street in Bennington, Vermont and resided in the home his parents built for the remainder of his life.

Mike received his Master Electrician Certification in 1977. Mike was a fixture at Mount Snow Resort, in Wilmington, Vermont, where he served as an electrician for the past thirty-plus years. An avid outdoorsman most of his life, Mike enjoyed traveling with his camper and fishing boat. He also enjoyed his trips along the Blue Ridge Mountains and to historic Williamsburg.

Mike is survived by his brothers, Benny Wilson (Marcia) of Live Oak, Florida, and Mark Wilson (Margaret) of Shaftsbury, Vermont. His nephews, Ben Wilson (Tabitha), and Jeremy Wilson (Nikki). His niece, Sarah Wilson (Raymond), and a cousin Linn Wilson.

Private services will be held for Mr. Wilson at a later date at the convenience of the family.

The family wishes to thank the incredible staff at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center for their care of Michael.
