Michael F. "Dubz" Willette (Willette)

February 18, 1954 — September 16, 2018

Michael F. Willette, age 64, a resident of South Street in Bennington, died on Sunday morning, September 16, 2018 following a long illness.

He was born in North Adams, MA on February 18, 1954 and was the son of the late Francis and Carmella (Tassone) Willette. He was educated in North Adams.

Michael married the former Brenda Gaffey on November 21, 1987, she survives.

He enjoyed listening to music, admiring classic cars, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family.

Besides his wife, Michael is survived by his daughter Jennifer Cavanaugh of Yuba City, CA, his son Nolan Rolnick of Manchester, VT, his grandchildren: Nyah, Mirra Bella, and Phoebe Cavanaugh. He leaves his brothers and sister; Stephen Willette, Bernard Willette, Kris Williams, Jeffrey Willette, Neil Willette, Travis Willette and Tony Willette.

A private memorial service will be held at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home in Bennington, however, there will also be a "Celebration of Life" held in Michael's honor, which will be open to anyone who wishes to attend - please contact Brenda or Nolan for more details.
