Michael Joseph Langlois

Michael J. Langlois 64, a resident of Bennington, Vermont passed away peacefully on Saturday August 17, 2024, at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, following a long illness. Born on February 23, 1960, in Bennington, Vermont. He was the son of the late David and Lois (Benkoski) Langlois. He was raised and received his early education in Bennington and later attended Mount Anthony Union High School. Growing up, Michael worked for Strohmaier’s Farm in Pownal, VT. He later worked for Kaman Composites for many years. Michael was an avid outdoorsman; He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time at his camp. He also enjoyed going to his grandsons basketball games. Survivors include his son, Michael L. Langlois (Morgan). His grandsons, Ridge and Colton Langlois. His sisters; Kelly Lemieux (Craig) and Robin Gardner (Matt). His nieces, Michaela Lemieux and Grace Gardner. His great nephew; Thomas Mattison. Michael is also survived by an aunt, Linda Langlois and many cousins. Friends are invited to calling hours on Friday August 23, 2024 from 10:30am until 11:30am at the Mahar Funeral Home in Bennington. Immediately following the calling hours, there will be a procession to Park Lawn Cemetery where the committal service will be offered and Michael will be laid to rest next to his mother Lois. If friends should desire, contributions in memory of Michael may be made directly to SVMC Dialysis Unit or the American Diabetes Association.
