Michael Francis Costantino, 70, of Bennington, VT, passed away unexpectedly after a short illness at home on October 1, 2024. Michael was born in Bennington, VT on February 3, 1954, the son of Francis Costantino and Lorraine Whitman.
He was predeceased by his mother, Lorraine Tollisen, his stepfather, Roy Tollisen, and his father, Francis Costantino.He is survived by his stepmother, Madelyn”Johnnie” Costantino of Hoosick Falls, NY.
In his younger years Michael was employed at J.V. Warren in Rensselaer, NY. He also worked at various restaurants. Michael enjoyed cooking and was an excellent cook. He was interested in anything to do with cars and had a special place in his heart for all animals. Michael also enjoyed spending time with his sister and brother-in-law, Sissy and Mark Tollisen, at their home listening to the Beatles and playing the guitar, and laughing and talking for hours.
He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He laughed a lot and he laughed big. He was known as the fun uncle who would come up with great ideas to entertain the children. They would love to see him coming.
In addition to his step-mother, Michael is survived by his children; Preston Costantino of Richmond, VA and Justinia (Justin) Costantino of Mayfield, NY and his beloved grandchildren, Giana and Jaxson Sinisi of Mayfield, NY, his siblings; Brenda (Donald) DeLuca of Guilderland, NY, Debbie (Francis) Rogers of Hoosick Falls, NY, Sissy (Mark) Tollisen of Bennington, VT, Jamie (Eddie) Meekins of Maysville, NC, Kris Tollisen of Troy, NY, Roy Peter Tollisen of Troy, NY, Robin (Matt) Costantino of Bennington, VT, Francine (Wade) White of Hyde Park, NY, Vincent Costantino of Hoosick Falls, NY, Charlie (Colleen) Costantino of Hoosick Falls, NY as well as many nieces and nephews.
Let’s not call it goodbye as we hope to see you again. So until then:
