Melissa Ann (Mason) Perrott, 55, a resident of West Park Road in Bennington, died peacefully on Wednesday April 6, 2022 peacefully surrounded by her family. After Melissa's courageous 4 1/2 yr battle with cancer she surrendered her life to join with her mother in Heaven.
Melissa was born in Bennington Vermont on August 29, 1966 to Patrick M. and the late Patricia M. (Grover) Perrott of Bennington.
Melissa was a loving mother too her two sunshine girls Maria and Allyson, Whom she doted upon.
Melissa became the youngest woman in Vermont to pass the real estate license exam at 18 and had a successful career at Century 21 Perrott Reality, later opening Perrott Reality with her husband Dan.
Melissa was an active member of her recover community, and made innumerable deep, lasting friendships.
Melissa enjoyed the last years of her life during her courageous battle with cancer traveling and living life to its absolute fullest with her family.
Survivors include her husband of 10 years, Danual Mason and beloved dog Lexi of Bennington, two bonus daughters, Maria Mason and fiancé Silas Wells of Vermont, Allyson and husband David Bombard of Vermont. Her father Patrick M. Perrott of Bennington. Brother, Christopher B. Perrott and wife Rosa of CT and sister Rebecca P. McLenithan and husband Brian of NY along with several nieces, nephews and cousins
Friends may call at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home on Friday April 8, 2022 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and then again on Saturday at Sacred Heart Saint Francis de Sales Church from noon until 1:00 p.m. when the family will be in attendance.
The funeral mass will be held on Saturday April 9, at Sacred Heart Saint Francis at 1:00 p.m. where the Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial will be offered.
The burial will follow at the family lot at Park Lawn Cemetery in Bennington.
