Matthew James Adams, age 29, a resident of Imperial Ave. Bennington, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018, following a long term illness.

Matthew was born in Bennington on August 22, 1988, and was the son of Marcia Adams. He received his education in Bennington and is a graduate of Mt. Anthony Union High School.

He was employed at Cross Masonry & Stonework. He enjoyed fishing, snowboarding, four wheeling, tinkering with cars, camp fires, swimming and being outdoors. One of his passions in life was listening to music and dancing like no one was watching. His life revolved around spending time with his family and pets; whom he loved with his whole heart and soul.

Matthew is survived by his life companion, Amber Catherine Doucette, and their children: Maleah Rose Adams-Doucette, and Hunter James Adams, all of Bennington. He is survived by mother, Marcia Lee Adams of Bennington, his sister, Amanda Rose Adams of Bennington, and his brothers: Joseph Patrick Adams of Tennessee, and Timothy Emerson Nystul of California. His four nephews Mason, Ashton, Camdyn and Benjamin. He is also survived by Amber's family; her parents, Catherine Jo and Allan Lawrence Doucette, and Amber's siblings; Zachary Allan Doucette, Shavonne Nicole Doucette, and Julia Rose Doucette, as well as several other family and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later time, at the convenience of the family. It will be announced via Matthew's and Amber's Facebook pages.
