Maryann Wilson, 66, a resident of Woodford Road in Bennington died Thursday September 21, 2017 at the Bennington Health and Rehabilitation Center in Bennington following a brief illness.
She was born in Chelsea, MA November 19, 1950. She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Rosemary Wilson. She received her education in Massachusetts and was a graduate of Worcester State University in Worcester, MA.
Maryann volunteered for many different organizations in the community. She had a passion for politics and was very socially active. She was a natural born teacher, both professionally and in a way of life. "She will be deeply missed by the countless souls she has helped along the path"
Survivors include a sister in law, Grace Wilson of Hudson, MA and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Along with her many friends and colleagues throughout the area. She was pre-deceased by a son Aaron Wilson, a brother Eric Wilson and a sister Roseann Wilson.
A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Bennington on Saturday October 7 at 11:00 a.m.
The burial will follow in the family lot at Park Lawn Cemetery
