Mary Rose Webb (Shippey)

BENNINGTON

Mary Rose Webb, 73, a resident of East Road, Bennington, died Monday, October 11, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family following a long illness.

Born in Bennington April 19, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Harry Ellsworth Shippey and Loretta (Gratton) Shippey. She received her education in the Bennington schools.

Mary married Perle W. Webb in Bennington on August 20, 1966. Mr. Webb died October 20, 2020.

At one time Mary was employed at the Bennington School and later at Hanneford Super Market in Bennington.

Mary enjoyed trips to Wells Beach in Maine. In earlier years was a baton twirler, enjoyed dancing and appeared on Teen-Age Barn.

Survivors include two daughters, Melissa Brown of Shaftsbury and Dawn Senecal of Bennington and two sons, Michael Webb (Tammy) and Perle Webb Jr (Mary) both of Bennington; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Joan Young of Arlington and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
