Mary E. Michaels, 79, a resident of Michaels Drive, Bennington died Thursday, December 27, 2018 at St. Peters Hospital in Albany, NY.
Born in Bennington on September 2, 1939, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Eva (Gardner) Wolfe. Mary received her education in Bennington and later attended St. Joseph Business College in Bennington.
Mary married Paul J. Michaels on June 25, 1960. Paul died in 1986.
Prior to her retirement Mary was employed in the office of SVMC Orthopedics.
Survivors include three children, Kelly, Karen and Kevin Michaels; three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held from the Mahar & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
Burial will take place in the family lot in Hoosick Rural Cemetery.
