Mary Ann Deslaurier (Deslaurier)

Born in Bennington on August 11, 1935, she was the daughter of the late John and Georgianna (Shiner) DesLaurier. Mary Ann received her education in the Bennington schools.
For many years she was employed as a registered nurse at Putnam Memorial Hospital and later Southwestern Vermont Medical Center until her retirement in 1997.
Survivors include a sister, Harriet Bik of Amsterdam, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
At Mary Ann's request private funeral services will take place at the convenience of the family.
Burial will take place in the family lot in Park Lawn Cemetery.
Should friends desire memorial contributions in Mary Ann DesLaurier's memory may be made to either Sacred Heart School or Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church through the office of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home, 628 Main Street, Bennington, VT 05201.
