Martha Crandall Fay (Crandall)

Martha Crandall Fay, age 88, a resident of Bennington died on May 31, 2018 at Bennington Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Martha was born in Grafton, New York on October 8, 1929, and was the daughter of the late Jesse B. and Hazel (Burdick) Crandall, Sr. She received her education in Berlin, NY and is a graduate of Berlin Central High School. She was a former member of the Grafton Community Church. She married Reverend John F. Fay in Grafton, NY. He has predeceased her. Martha was a homemaker most of her life.

Martha is survived by three sons: Robert G. Goyer, Jr. of Grafton, NY, Bruce (Delinda) Goyer of Cropseyville, NY, and Brian Goyer of Grafton, NY. and one step-daughter Joanne Koster of Greenville, NC, as well as six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday morning, June 5, at 10:00AM at Meadow Lawn Cemetery in Petersburgh, NY.

At Martha's request, there will not be any calling hours or funeral services.

The Mahar and Son Funeral Home in Bennington is assisting the family at this time.
