Martha Anne Bromirski, 73, of Monroe, NC, passed away on May 18, 2016. The oldest of 5 children, Martha was born & raised in Bennington, Vermont to Winfield and Louise (Bruso) Robinson.
A graduate of Bennington Catholic High School and Putnam Memorial Hospital School of X-ray Technology, Martha began her career at Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, MA but returned home after meeting her sweetheart, John Bromirski over a holiday break. The couple married October 17, 1964 and together raised 2 children; daughter Ann & son John. In addition to being a dedicated wife and mother, Martha enjoyed her career, friendships and dearly loved her animals. She was a wonderful cook, an avid reader and a life-long Duke Basketball fan. A devout Catholic and dedicated member of her church, she kept her prayer book by her side until her last breath.
She is survived by her daughter Ann Camp and grandson Tyler of Matthews, NC; son John Bromirski, his wife Ashley and granddaughter Amelia of Raleigh, NC. Her siblings Winfield "Joe" Robinson & wife Sherry of East Arlington, Richard "Butch" Robinson & wife Marge of Bennington; Darlene Robinson Ayotte & husband Ron Ayotte of Monroe, NC along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her husband John Francis Bromirski, her parents and brother Gary "Punk" Robinson.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 10th from 5-8pm at E.P Mahar & Son Funeral Home in Bennington with memorial service/mass held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Saturday, June 11th at 11am followed by reception. A graveside gathering will take place at 2pm.
