Mark Anthony Thompson, 35, a resident of Lincoln St. in Bennington, VT died Tuesday September 21, 2021 at Saint Peters Hospital in Albany, New York following a long illness.

He was born in Bennington, VT June 6, 1986. He was the son of the late Gerald "Gerry" Thompson and Mary (Derosia) Webb who survives. He received his education in Bennington and was a 2004 graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School.

Mark was employed at Tractor Supply in Bennington. He enjoyed gardening, Mark had a green thumb. He grew his own food. He was a gentle soul who enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his son, Mark Jr. in the outdoors.

Survivors include his son, Mark A. Thompson Jr. of Bennington. His parents, Mary and Perle Webb Jr. of Bennington. Two brothers, Jesse Webb (Greta Hoehn) and Perle Webb III (Samantha Villeneuve). Two sisters, Abby Scott (Barry) and Molly Thompson (Ralph Stone) all of Bennington. Two step brothers, Greg and Anthony Thompson Two nephews, Carter Scott and Matthew Stone and two nieces, Carleigh Scott and Gabby Stone along with many cousins

Services for Mark will be held at the convenience of the family.
