Mark Hogan Lindsey, 43, a resident of Putnam Street, Bennington, died suddenly on Saturday, August 7, 2021 in Manchester following a motorcycle accident.
Born in Bennington on December 4, 1977, he was the son of Ronald Lindsey Sr. and Rosemary (Hogan) Lindsey. Mark received his early education in the Shaftsbury school, was a 1996 graduate of Mt. Anthony Union High School and attended Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY.
Mark married the former Melinda King in Shaftsbury on August 17, 2002.
Mark had been employed for many years at NSK in Bennington before establishing his own painting business, Lindsey's Fresh Coat.
He enjoyed biking, snowmobiling, motorcycle riding and gardening. His happiest time were spent with his wife "Sparky" and his daughters and grandson.
Survivors include his wife, Melinda Lindsey, two daughters, Ashley and Molly and his grandson, Felix Kieran, all of Bennington; his parents, Ronald Sr. and Rosemary Lindsey of Shaftsbury; a brother and sister-in-law, Ronald Jr. and Tonya Lindsey of Hyannis, MA; his mother-in-law, Barbara King of Amarillo, TX; his father-in-law, Rick King (Cindy) of Phoenix, AZ and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in North Bennington.
Friends may call at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
