Marie Miller (Brunagel)

Marie Miller, (Radziejewski), 92, a former resident of North Branch St. in Bennington, VT died Friday September 20, 2019 at the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation in Bennington.

She was born in New Hyde Park, New York September 29, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Bernhard and Marie (Froelick) Brunagel. Marie received her education in New Hyde Park and was a graduate of Sewanahaka High School.

In earlier years Marie had been employed at r.k. Miles as a bookkeeper. She had also worked at the East Shire Nursing Home. Marie was a volunteer at Putnam Memorial Hospital.

Her home and family were her main interests. Survivors include two daughters, Donna Pickering (Harry Pickering) of Arlington, VT and Connie Radziejewski (pre-deceased by Richard Woodward) of Bennington, VT. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Sarah Pickering Merrill, Hooper Pickering, Tylar Myers and Amy Pickering, eight great-grandchildren, Ethan Myers, Clare Myers, Anna Myers, Cassidy Pickering, Masey Pickering, Ethan Pickering, Tallulah Pickering and Daniela Pickering, and one great-great grandchild, Hayden Myers, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was pre-deceased by a brother and a sister.

At Marie's request there will be no calling hours or funeral services.

Marie has gifted her body to the University of Vermont Anatomical Gifts Program.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mahar and Son Funeral Home in Bennington.
