Marian E. Andrew (Bohne)

April 23, 1926 — January 16, 2019

Marian E. Andrew, 93, a former resident of Coolidge St. in Bennington and more recently of Rivers Edge Community Care Home died Wednesday January 16, 2019 at her residence.

She was born in Poughkeepsie, New York April 23, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Paul W. Bohne Sr. and Ethel (Vincent) Bohne. Marian received her education in Springfield, VT and was a graduate of Shoreham Vermont High School class of 1945.

She married Harold E. "Andy" Andrew on December 25, 1963 in Bennington, VT.

For 34 years Marian was employed by the New England Telephone Company as a telephone operator. She was a member of the Green Mountain Christian Center.

Survivors include her husband, Harold E. "Andy" Andrew of Bennington. A son, Donald R. Andrew and his wife Sylvia of Bennington. Her grandchildren, Robert B. Andrew of Bennington, Morgan K. Andrew of Bennington, Jason G. Bushee of Bennington and Laura and Alexis Kane of Bennington. Four great grandchildren, Sara J. Andrew of Bennington, Mariah A. Andrew of Eagle Bridge, NY and Justin and Mary Yarnal of Bennington and several great great grandchildren. Along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was pre-deceased by a son, Robert J. Andrew, a grandson Mark E. Andrew, two sisters, Betty Douglas and Cherry Bohne and two brothers, Paul W. Bohne Jr and James E. Bohne.

Friends may call at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home on Tuesday January 22, 2019 from noon to 1:00 p.m.

The funeral will be held at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home on Tuesday January 22, at 1:00 p.m.

The burial will take place in the family lot at the Berlin Baptist Cemetery in Berlin, New York in the Spring
