Margaret K. Volkmer

Marcy Volkmer, 56, a resident of Bennington VT, left this world unexpectedly on July 21st 2023. She was born in Bennington, VT on April 18th 1967, the daughter of Beverly Bull Volkmer. Marcy graduated from Mount Anthony Union High School in '85 and shortly after enrolled in a nursing program to become an LNA. Being an endlessly compassionate person by nature, her love of being an LNA came easy and she devoted over 30 years of her life to being a caregiver. Marcy found enjoyment in the little things; singing her heart out, cooking up culinary creations and spoiling her beloved cat Phoebe. Family was everything to Marcy and she never failed to go above and beyond for those she cherished, even if it was just to put a smile on their face. Her sister Darcy Volkmer, who had just passed recently, was unequivocally her best friend and guiding light. The bond that they shared was eternal and will travel with them past the bounds of this realm. Marcy is survived by her daughter, Paige Guetti. Her son in law, William Cummings. Her boyfriend, Tim Grant. Her cousin, Lisa Bull Buchanan. Her Aunt, Sylvia Bull. Her former partner of 20 years, Rodney Guetti and her friend/late sister's partner, Ronnie Chenard. As well as cousins and several close friends. She was predeceased by her mother, Beverly Bull Volkmer; her father, William Volkmer; and her sister, Darcy Volkmer. There will be no services at this time.
