Margaret Ann Foster, 68, a resident of North Bennington, Vermont passed away peacefully following a brief illness at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York. Born on June 28th, 1955 in Tokyo, Japan, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Kimiko (Suzuki) Foster. Margaret was raised, and received her early education in North Bennington, Vermont, and Later attended Mount Anthony Union High School. Following her graduation, she began working for Union Carbide in Bennington, and later worked for Schmelzer Corporation also of Bennington. Margaret was well known for working at her family’s buisness; Yoshi’s Japanese Restaurant in Hoosick Falls, New York. Margaret was an active member of the Bennington Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses for over 20 years. She also was beloved for her participation in an exercise class she helped put on at Homestead Greene in North Bennington. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially children. Survivors include her son; Jimmy Wilkinson. Her grandchildren; Annaleeza, Jay, and Jacob. A great-grandchild; Skylar. Her sisters; Linda Tobin (Rod), Aimee Davis (Tim) and Sue Foster (Matt Frost). Her nieces; Jessica and Kyana. Her nephews; Aaron, Chad, and Timothy. Margaret is also survived by; many cousins, special friends and relatives, as well as, an extended family in Japan. Following in her wishes, there will be no formal funeral services for Margaret. The family plans to have a private a celebration of life at a later date.
