Margaret Elaine Crawford (Jepson)

She was born on September 7, 1939 in Bennington and was the daughter of the late John and Alta (Knights) Jepson. She received her education in Bennington schools.
She married Robert Crawford at Sacred Heart Church in Bennington. He predeceased her in 1979.
Over the years, she had been employed as a Candy Striper at Putnam Memorial Hospital in Bennington, and as a retail clerk at Fishman's Store, Mammoth Mart, Woolworths, Grants, A&P, and Bennington Brush Company.
She possessed good people skills, enjoyed walking, babysitting and spending time with her grandchildren.
Margaret is survived by three daughters: Cecilia (Al) Stoessel of Bennington, Pamela (David) Clark of Bennington, and Christina (Tony) Morgan of West Rutland, VT. She leaves twelve grandchildren: Casey Crawford, Nathaniel Crawford, Mollie Clark, Alex McKeighan, Charlie McKeighan, Quinn McKeighan and Daryll McKeighan, Francis Adams, Jr., Damian Adams, Sheena Adams, Shelby Adams and Reilly Hunt. Margaret has nine great grandchildren. She is survived by one sister; Janet (Fred) Harrington of Shaftsbury, VT one niece and one nephew.
Besides her husband, she is predeceased by one infant son Michael Crawford, and one brother, Donald French.
Graveside committal services will be held on Friday, September 8, at 10:00AM at Park Lawn Cemetery in Bennington.
There are no calling hours scheduled.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mahar and Son Funeral Home in support of the family.
