Lynne Marie Vance

She was born in Bennington, VT May 2, 1955. She was the daughter of the late Philip and Joan (Toomey) Vance. Lynne received her education in Bennington and was a graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School. She later attended CCV and graduated from Keene State College with and associates degree and Castleton State College with a bachelor's degree.
Lynne worked at several different businesses in the area over the years including, Green Mountain Furniture, Sibley Manufacturing, Green Mountain Race Track, The Smokers Den, Martins Mini Mart and for many years at the Humane Society. She most recently worked at the Federal Census Bureau.
Lynne enjoyed working outdoors, camping and going to concerts. She loved to work with animals, especially her Dobermans, showing and tracking. She was very self- sufficient. She enjoyed going to museums and in earlier years shooting guns with her dad.
Survivors include two sisters, Kathryn Vance of Bennington and Sandra Vance of Hoosick, NY.
There will be no calling hours or funeral services.
A graveside service will be held at the family lot at Park Lawn Cemetery on May 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
