Lois Florence Eggsware

September 18, 1948 — December 2, 2021

BENNINGTON- Lois Florence Eggsware 73, a resident of South Stream Road in Bennington, passed away on December 2nd, 2021 at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY following a short illness.

Born September 18th 1948. Lois was one of 11 children born to the late Aldis and Mildred (Greene) Hill. She received her early education at the Bennington area schools and was a graduate of Bennington High School. On February 18th, 1966 in Pownal, VT. Lois married Ted Eggsware Sr.

Growing up with five brothers and five sisters, the importance of family was a central part of Lois' life. It was so important to Lois, she became a stay-at-home mom for her own children. Faith was also a central part of her life, being a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Bennington. The church and her family were Lois' true passions.

Survivors of Lois include her Husband of nearly 55 years Ted Eggsware Sr. Her five children: Ted Jr. (Laurie), Brian (Jeanne), Dennis (Stacey), Lisa (David), and Elizabeth (Robert). Her sisters; Rosemary, Joan, and June and Her brothers; Billy and Brad. Lois is also survived by ten grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Lois is predeceased by her sisters Shirley, Trina and Kathy as well as her brothers Hollis, Aldis Jr. and Robert Hill. She is also predeceased by a grandson Garrett.

A memorial service in honor of Lois will be held on Sunday December 12, at 2pm at the Bible Baptist Church in Bennington.
