Lisa Beth Rampolla, 51, a resident of Albany, New York, passed away peacefully at her home following a long illness on January 21, 2024. Born on September 11th, 1972 in Bennington, Vermont. She was the daughter of Charles Nelson Shortt and Marjorie Elaine Pratt. Lisa was raised in Mt. Tabor, Vermont, and later graduated from Mill River Union High School in Clarendon, Vermont, with the class of 1991. In that same year, she married Greg Rampolla and had her 1st child, Ashley. They later had another child, Ryan. Greg and Lisa later separated but remained friends while raising their children. Lisa worked as a salesperson at the Vermont Country Store in Weston, Vermont and later at U.S. Cellular in Bennington. Lisa enjoyed all things outdoors. Whether it was hunting, fishing, camping, or hiking, she did it all. She loved to travel and was an adventurous soul. Lisa had a relentless sense of humor. When she got going on a line of jokes, she could have the listener still laughing at the first joke while she was getting ready for the punchline on the second. Above all, Lisa enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Ashley Rampolla (Schyler Stone Sr.) and Ryan Rampolla (Marissa Schaffer). Her grandchildren are Schyler Stone Jr., Greyson Stone, Aria Stone, Gabriella Rampolla, and Matthew Rampolla. Her mother; Marjorie Elaine Pratt (Cleo Webb). Her brothers are Eric Shortt (Brenda), Paul Shortt, and Todd Thompson (Beth). A mother-in-law, Carol Rampolla. Lisa is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Lisa was predeceased by her father, Charles Nelson Shortt. As well as her father-in-law, Ron Rampolla. Friends and relatives are invited to Mahar Funeral Home in Bennington, Vermont, for an hour of visitation from 3:30 pm until 4:30 pm on Tuesday, January 30th, 2024. At the conclusion of that hour at 4:30 pm, there will be a funeral service for Lisa, also at the funeral home. If friends should desire, contributions in memory of Lisa may be made to Mahar Funeral Home, 628 Main Street, Bennington, Vermont 05201, to assist the family with the funeral expenses.
