BENNINGTON
Linda C. Lampron, 76, wife of Marvin Lampron, a resident of Overlea Road, Bennington, died Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Centers for Living and Rehabilitation following a long illness.
Born in Bennington on November 21, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Mildred (Bostwick) Hoyt. She received her education in the Pownal schools.
Linda and Marvin were married on April 27, 1957 in Bennington. In earlier years Linda was employed at the Pownal Tannery and Darling Kelly's Motel. She later worked at Crescent Manor Care Center until the time of her retirement.
Linda's favorite pastime was time spent with her family. She also was an avid birdwatcher.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin Lampron of Bennington; a daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Bill Sheldon and a son and daughter-in-law, David and Bonnie Lampron, all of Hoosick Falls, NY; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Linda was predeceased by a daughter, Bonnie Lee Prentiss, a sister, Debbie Kelly and a brother, Robert Hoyt.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
