ARLINGTON, VERMONT
Linda S. Goding, age 77, a resident of Arlington, died on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington.
She was born in Wolfeboro, NH on April 22, 1941 and was the daughter of Donald F. and Frances L. (Meserve) Robinson. She received her education in New Hampshire. Over the years she had been employed as a cobbler, bartender and bookkeeper. Linda loved playing games on the internet, watching birds especially hummingbirds, her grandchildren, and her great grandchildren, fondly known as Mimi.
Linda lived in Arlington, with her longtime companion Greg Thompson for many years and grew to love the area. She is survived by her daughters: Cassy, Cindy, and Jamie and her grandson, Stephen whom she raised. She had 10 grandchildren, Thomas, Joseph, Rebecca, Stephen, Samantha, Caitlin, Jonathan, Brianna, Damien, and Harley. Linda had 13 great grandchildren, and several nephews and a niece.
Linda is predeceased by her parents Donald F. and Frances L. (Meserve) Robinson, and one son, Stephen A. MacDonald, her two sisters, Judith Garland, Elinor Pater and her brother Frank R. Robinson.
