Leonard L. Knights

March 19, 1966 — April 21, 2021

Leonard L. "JR" Knights, 55, a resident of Hamlin Avenue, Bennington, died Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center following a brief illness.

Born in Bennington March 19, 1966 he was the son of the late Leonard L. Knights Sr. and Barbara (Eggsware) Knights who survives.

JR was employed for several years at NSK in Bennington.

JR was member of the Bennington Moose Lodge, Bennington Eagles Club and the Bennington Elks Lodge. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and especially time spent with his father at their camps in Rupert and Arlington.

Survivors include his mother, Barbara Knights of Bennington and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his Dad, JR was predeceased by two sisters, Valerie Albrycht and Tracy Knights.

Committal services will take place at the family lot at the Woodford Cemetery on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.
