Leon David Lovelace

June 26, 1973 — January 10, 2025

Leon David Lovelace Sr., 51, resident of Bennington, Vermont, passed away unexpectedly at Albany Medical Center on Friday, January 10, 2025. He was the son of Michael Lovelace Sr. and Cheryl Crawford-Lovelace. Leon was born on June 26, 1973, at Putnam Memorial Hospital in Bennington. He attended school, and graduated in New York.

Leon enjoyed all outdoor activities such as camping, having fires, cookouts, and playing cornhole, usually with his coffee close by. Always willing to help or do anything for others. He especially loved spending time with his family & friends.

He is survived by his father, Michael Lovelace Sr. (Poppy), and his companion, Sue Lovely. His fiancé, Camie Bushee, and their four children: Leon Lovelace Jr., Bradley, Brandyn, and Kasandra Long. His brother, Michael Lovelace Jr. His nephew, Timothy Lovelace, his aunt Shirley, uncle Larry, Gerry Crawford, and many other family members.

He is predeceased by his mother, Cheryl Crawford-Lovelace, and his grandparents.

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 1, 2025, at the VFW in Bennington from 2:00-4:00 pm. Family and friends are welcome to attend. Thank you to everyone for supporting our family during this difficult time.
