Leisha Joan Cross, 59, a resident of Bennington, Vermont, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2024, at her home, following a long illness. Born on April 24, 1965, in Bennington, she was the daughter of the late George Cross and Blanche Thomas. Leisha received her early education in Bennington, graduating from Mount Anthony Union High School. She later went on to earn her associates degree in business. Leisha worked for many years at Stratton Mountain Resort in Stratton Mountain, VT and later NSK in Bennington. Above all, Leisha enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed photography, classic rock, and her two dogs; ‘Chip, Chip, Chipper’ and ‘Santana Marie’ Leisha is survived by her children; Misty Lynn LeBlanc (Lester) and Jeremy LeBlanc, her grandchildren; Raven and Caden, her sisters; Selina Toro and Wanda Woodard (Billy)' her brothers; Ernie (Bonnie) Cross, Steven Paul (Kim) Cross and Kenny Cross. Leisha is also survived by her niece and nephew; Kaylee Hamill and Kevin Hamill, her special friends; Mo Greenier, Sarah Sweet, and Amanda Krawczyk. Leisha is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Tommy Cross. Following Leisha’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services.
