Laurie May Wilcox

December 12, 1960 — January 13, 2025

Laurie May Wilcox, 64 of Arlington, VT, passed away peacefully at her home on January 13, 2025, following a long illness. Laurie was born in Bennington, VT on December 12, 1960, the daughter of Stuart and Patricia (Bleau) Wilcox. She received her education in Arlington and was a 1978 Graduate of Arlington Memorial High School.

Laurie loved her flowers and vegetable gardens. She enjoyed cooking and loved giving her culinary masterpieces away to her friends and neighbors. She didn’t know how to make a little. Laurie loved entertaining and was an avid reader.

Laurie is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Debra and Michael Harrington of Bennington, VT, her nearest and dearest friend, Susie Crofut Hoyt, of Arlington, VT, her special cousin, Karen Orsini, of Argyle, NY, a nephew, Justin Harrington, a great nephew, Kolton Harrington, her beloved cat, Nellie and many more cousins and many, many special friends who stood by her through her sickness. She was predeceased by her partner of over 33 years, Joseph “Jody” Wyman, who passed away on November 15, 2024.

A Celebration of Laurie’s Life will be held in the spring or summer.
