BENNINGTON- Kelly Walsh, 59, passed away peacefully on February 7th, 2022, with her family by her side at her home in Bennington, VT.
She was born February 5th, 1963, in Troy, NY where she received her education. Well known for being a hard worker, she was employed at many establishments over the years, including working for over 13 years at Plasan North America.
Though she be but little, she is fierce. Standing at 4'9" inches of pure dynamite, Kelly could accomplish anything she set her mind to. She was incredibly hardworking, strong and determined. Kelly enjoyed the thrill of games of chance. She was a regular sight at Monday Night Bingo at the Elks, liked to visit the local casinos on occasion and once won several thousand dollars on a scratch off. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy, she treasured the time they spent together. She had a huge, kind heart and would do anything for someone who needed help. Kelly was a friend to everyone she met.
She is survived by her spouse of over 23 years Ronald Wideawake, her children Tiffany Clark (Josh), Billy Walsh and Steven Walsh (Mariah), her siblings Kevin Blair, Tammy Fann, Mary Center, and Bernard Blair Jr., her grandchildren Tyson and Ava Walsh and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her Grandmother Mary Pratt, her mother Bettylou Harwood and her brother Edward Blair.
Visitation for Kelly will be held for family and friends at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home in Bennington on Tuesday, February 15th, 2022 at 10am.
