Keith D. Rowe of Manchester Center, Vermont passed away December 21, 2024 after a courageous battle with brain cancer.

Keith was born to Kathryn and Douglas Rowe on September 29, 1971 – a surprise birthday present to his mother.

Keith had a strong love for his friends, family, and the people he would meet along his travels. Keith formed a lifelong bond with his friend Kurt Williams from Jamaica, Vermont. Keith went on to follow The Grateful Dead tours and found peace in the music. Keith enjoyed watching New York Yankees Baseball. Keith also had a passion for cooking as he resided at the Ye Old Tavern living under the care of Wayne and Deborah Bell. This is where Keith formulated his plans to be a chef, which he later achieved. Keith was later employed as a chef at some of the area’s best restaurants: Bistro Henry, Dorset Inn, and Al Ducci’s. Later he enjoyed driving Wilcox’s Ice Cream Truck.

Keith would go on to attend the Community College of Vermont to improve his life and career. This is where he met the love of his life, Ashley Barber of Bennington, Vermont and her daughter Leah Barber. Keith and Ashley graduated together in 2017, with human services degrees. Keith quickly became the most loving and devoted father. He also had a deep love for his dog Brooklyn was passed away on December 1, 2001 – who he loved to take for rides, and throw the tennis ball too.

Keith is survived by his girlfriend, Ashley Barber. His children: Trystain Carbonaro of Orlando, Florida, and Leah Barber of Bennington, Vermont. His mother, Kathy Amadon – who he had a special love language with. He is also survived by his siblings, Joshua Amadon, half-sister Christine, and half-sister Katie.

Keith had a beautiful heart and personality. He was an amazing dad and friend. He will be deeply missed by so many. His family and friends are so thankful for having the pleasure of knowing Keith, and will carry his memory and love with them forever. “Fare Thee Well.”

The family would also like to thank his friends Jaime, Travis, and George for their support.
