Karen Ann Madison (Hall)

Karen Ann Madison, 49, a former resident of Bennington, Vermont and more recently of Jacksonville, Florida died Tuesday December 15, 2020 in Jacksonville following a year- long battle with cancer.

She was born in Bennington, VT February 9, 1971. She was the daughter of Richard Hall and the late Barbara (Hewson) Hall. Karen received her education in Bennington and was a 1989 graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School.

She married Mark Madison.

In earlier years Karen had been employed at Madison's Brewery, Chittenden Bank in Arlington, VT and Bennington College. She most recently worked at Charles Equatics Inc. in Jacksonville, Florida.

She loved to ride her motorcycle. Karen also enjoyed baking and spending time with her family and her aunt Alice.

Survivors include her husband, Mark Madison of Jacksonville. A son Steven Madison of Jacksonville. Her father, Richard Hall of Bennington. Two brothers, Scott Hall (Beth) of Bennington and Robert Hall of Adams, MA. Her father- in law and mother- in law, Michael and Mikey Madison of Bennington. A sister in law Michelle Mazzola (Dan). Two brother in law's, Michael Madison (Betsy) and Mel Madison (Nicole).

A graveside service will be held at the family lot at Saint John's Cemetery in the spring.

The Mahar and Son Funeral Home in Bennington is helping the family with the arrangements.
