NORTH BENNINGTON-
Julie Marie Baldwin passed away on the early morning of August 10th, 2022 following a courageous fight for over five years of metastatic breast cancer. She was born in Bennington, VT on May 24, 1968 to the late Eleanor A. Baldwin (Griswold) and Robert F. Baldwin and was the youngest of five children.
Julie grew up in Walloomsac, NY and attended Hoosick Falls Central School at which time during her freshman year she moved to New Smyrna Beach Florida with her parents. Once her father passed in December of 1986 at the age of 55, she and her Mom returned to Walloomsac, NY until her mom's passing in June of 2017. Julie then moved to North Bennington, where she lived out the remainder of her life in an apartment she loved.
Julie was employed over the years in many capacities and most remembered for her years of working at K-Mart in the retail business. She also worked with the residents of CLR and Vermont Veteran's Home for several years as the activities assistant. She loved animals and leaves her support cat, Puddy, whom she adored. She loved music especially the old hard rock bands and enjoyed watching the old comedy TV shows that our parents used to enjoy.
Julie is survived by her four siblings, William A. Baldwin (Marie Hawley) of Arlington, VT and Elizabeth "Betty" Swartz of Shaftsbury, VT and Robin Baldwin of Cathedral City, CA and Ronald M. Baldwin (Jessica) of Pownal, VT. She is also survived by many extended family members including a very close Aunt, Rosemarie Zukas of Port Orange, FL.
A Catholic mass of Christian burial is expected to be announced at the convenience of the family and will take place at St. John the Baptist Church in North Bennington with internment at St. John's Cemetery in North Bennington, VT where her parents were laid to rest.
