Judy Iliene Trombley (Teer)

April 27, 1939 — January 6, 2021

Judy I. Trombley, 81, a resident of Burgess Road in Bennington died Wednesday January 6, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family following a brief illness.

She was born in Danby, Vermont, the 4th child of Albert and Marion (Stone) Teer. Judy attended Scottsville School, Danby Grade School and Wallingford High before attaining her Licensed Practical Nursing Degree at the Putnam School of Nursing in Bennington, VT

She worked for over 30 years at Putnam Memorial Hospital/Southwestern Vermont Medical Center before retiring to Home Health Care for individuals for about ten years.

Judy loved to sew, garden and make crafts. She was also a wonderful baker of apple pies and cookies as well as "The" maker of Jello Jigglers for her family gatherings.

Judy was married to Arthur S. Trombley on June 18, 1960.

Together they had two sons, Mark David and Edward Francis.

Judy is survived by her son Edward of Bennington, VT. Her grandchildren, Carrie (Milton) Gardner, Malia Trombley (JC Jerome) and Niles (Jade) Trombley all of Bennington. Her extended grandchildren, Lanae Clark of Hoosick Falls, NY and Walter Clark of Bennington, VT. Her great grandchildren, Lucas Gardner, JC Jerome and Silas Trombley all of Bennington and her extended great grandchildren, Kera Clark and Alexis Sprague of Hoosick Falls, NY. Her siblings, Mary King of North Clarendon, VT, Linda Hooker of Wallingford, VT, Marty Crilly of Rutland, VT, Walter Teer of Danby, VT, Susan Martell of White Creek, NY as well as many other family members. Judy was pre-deceased by her beloved son, Mark David, her parents Albert and Marion (Stone) Teer and her siblings, Robert Teer, Etta Jackson, Frank Teer Sr., Peter Teer and Joseph Teer Sr.

There will not be any calling hours or funeral services.

There will be a private family and friends gathering at the Scottsville Cemetery in Danby in the spring.
