JUDITH A. SAWYER OBITUARY
POWNAL, VERMONT

Judith Ann Sawyer, age 75, a resident of Pace Road in Pownal, died on Thursday, September 5, 2019 following a brief illness.
She was born in Queens, NY on June 4, 1944 and was the daughter of the late Clyde and Lillian (Pierce) Colo. She graduating from Bennington Catholic High School. She had received her Nursing Degree and had worked at North Adams Regional Hospital for a time. She later went to work for P.C. Supermarkets where she held various positions. Judith opened her own child day center called Appletree Daycare, which she ran for several years.
She married Kenneth Sawyer, on June 23, 1979. He survives. Judith loved spending time with her family.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her family members; Richard (Sandy) Sawyer, and their son Bradley. Cheryl Sawyer, Robert Sawyer, Corey Sawyer, Amanda Sawyer and her fiancé Joel, Steven, and Torah, as well as many cousins.
There are no services scheduled.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter or the Alzheimer's Foundation at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home, in Bennington, Vermont
