Judith Ann Heisler, 69, a resident of Burgess Road, Bennington, died peacefully on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation following a brief illness. She is now resting in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Born in Bennington on June 7, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Horace and Mary (Pierce) Young. Judy received her education in Bennington and was a 1965 graduate of Bennington Catholic High School.
Judy was predeceased by her husband, Frank J. Heisler, to whom she was married for 23 years.
Judy enjoyed knitting, candy molding and baking cakes for her family and friends.
Survivors include her five children, Jamie Armentrout of Portsmouth, VA, Wendy M. Harder of Raleigh, NC, John T. Gauthier, Bonnie E. Pruitt and Jodi L. Hoppa, all of Virginia Beach, VA; nine grandchildren, Rebekah, Devin, Damien, Rachel, Erin, Nicholas, Levi, Christopher and Stefan; five great-grandchildren, Lily, Susan, Jackson, Jaxson, Lincoln and Rowen. Judy was happily looking forward to the birth of two additional grandchildren (twins) and a great-grandchild in March, 2017
Memorial services celebrating the life of Judith Ann Heisler will be held at the Bible Baptist Church, 1425 Harwood Hill Rd., Bennington on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Michael Twardy officiating.
