Judith I. Gardner (Inman)

Judith I. Gardner, 75, a resident of Frost Lane in Pownal, VT died Sunday February 13, 2022 at the Southwestern VT Medical Center in Bennington following a long illness.

She was born in Agawam, MA January 21, 1947. She was the daughter of the late Maylon and Catherine (Hathaway) Inman. Judy received her education in Agawam, MA.

She married Robert Gardner March 6, 1965. Mr. Gardner died December 17, 2014

For 12 years Judy had been employed at CB Sports in Bennington and for 15 years she worked at NSK. She had also worked at the Southern Vermont Orchard and Warren Wire in Pownal.

Judy enjoyed sewing and knitting.

Survivors include her children, Robert Gardner (Josie) of Berlin, NY, Shawn Gardner (Lexie) of Bennington and Heidi Gardner (Bob) of New Hampshire. Her grandchildren, Ashley O'Dell, Zachary J. Bates, Morgan Bates, Jonathan Gardner, Amy Gardner, Tasha Harwood, Tonya Harwood, Haley Harwood, Nicholas Gardner, Brayden Gardner and Karrington Gardner and nine great grandchildren. A sister Carol Inman of Agawam, MA. A sister in law Dorothy Andrews of Pownal and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was pre-deceased by her husband Robert Gardner a daughter, Tracy Ann Bates, a sister Nancy Inman and a brother Ozzie Inman.

The entombment will take place in Park Lawn Chapel.

A graveside service will be held at the family lot at the North Pownal Cemetery in the spring.
