He was born in Bennington, VT November 20, 1989. He was the son of James E. Mears and the late Deborah (Gall) Mears.
He received his education in Bennington.
Josh worked at the Hoosick Falls Redemption Center.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Survivors include his father James E. Mears of Bennington. Two brothers, James E. Mears Jr. and his wife Daisy of Bennington and Jeremy Mears of Bennington. Along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
Friends may call at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home on Friday May 13, 2022 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
A graveside service will be held at the family lot at Hinsdillville Cemetery in North Bennington on Tuesday May 17 at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Joshua W. Mears may be made to the Mahar and Son Funeral Home to help the family with expenses through the office of the Mahar and Son Funeral Home 628 Main St. Bennington, VT 05201. Guestbook condolences may be made at www.maharandsonfuneralhome.net
