Joseph "Jody" Wyman, 64 of West Arlington, VT passed away on November 15, 2024 at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, VT following a long illness. Jody's was born in Bennington, VT on August 18, 1960, the son of Frederick D. and Louise (Parker) Wyman.
Jody was a carpenter for many years, working for Herb Stratton Construction then for Ned Marion and finally for Chic Paustian. His favorite part of construction work was framing. He also ran his own painting business, which he purchased from Kenny Hewes, for several years and was also a caretaker for Richard Perkins.
Jody loved hunting and fishing. He was a huge football fan and could watch game after game after game, especially when the game included his beloved Dallas Cowboys.
He is survived by his partner of over 33 years, Laurie Wilcox, of West Arlington, VT, his aunt, Sandra Parker Frost, a niece, Marci Waite, his two nephews Ron and Lee Waite and many cousins and countless friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Wendy Wyman, Freddy Wyman, Debbie Wyman and Bonnie Waite.
