Jonathan G. Hoyt, 38, a resident of Eastview Drive, Bennington, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at home.
Born in Bennington on December 9, 1980, he was the son of Gerald W. Hoyt and Debra A. (Thompson) Lyon. Jonathan received his education in the Bennington schools and was a 1999 graduate of Mt. Anthony Union High School.
For several years he was employed by various construction companies in the area.
Survivors include a daughter, Ava Marie Hoyt of Bennington; his father, Gerald W. Hoyt of Bennington; his mother and step-father, Debra and Paul Lyon of Hoosick Falls, NY; a brother Jason Hoyt and his wife Diane Peacock Hoyt of Charlotte, NC; a nephew, Hunter Legard Hoyt and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 beginning at 6:00 p.m. A memorial service celebrating Jonathan's life will be held at 7:00 p.m.
