Jon Edward Garhartt, age 56, died Saturday, April 22, 2017.
He was born in Bennington to Beulah and Clifford Grhartt He attended local schools, graduating in 1979. Worked for years at All Days and Onion Restaurant, then Henry's Matket and later at the State of Vermont until his retirement due to illness
Jon leaves his wife Robin of thirty-one years, his father-in-law, Charles Capriola of Bennington. He leaves two sons: Galeb (Brianna) of Bennington, Ethan of Burlington, VT as well as his granddaughter, Leah.
Jon is predeceased by his parents, and mother-in-law, Joan Capriola.
There will be no services per Jon's request. His request is for all to be happy and to remember life is a gift.
The Mahar and Son Funeral Home is assisting the family at this time.
