John Chambers Foster, age 67, a resident of Bennington died on December 29, 2018 following a brief illness.
He ws born in Shreveport, LA on December 30, 1951 and was the son of the lateGordon L. and Nina (Evan) Foster. He received his education in local schools. Joh enjoyed woodworking, flight simulators, drones, building a flying model airplanes, he enjoyed riding his electric bicycle as well as painting, photography, and boating. In earlier years, he built his own boat.
John is survived by his children: John Gerard, Stacy Protizansky, Jodi Harwood, Joshua Foster, Nathan Foster, Amanda Crossman, and Nina Foster. He leaves nine grandchildren; Alice, Ewan,Ciara, Madison, Alexa, Brinkley, Cooper, Chris, Desiree and Austin. John is also survived by his step-mother, Nancy Bosquet of Florida and his siblings; James Foster, Ramona Chase, Sterling Foster with whom he lived, Lance Foster, Heidi Tilley, Preston Foster and Heather Foster as well as aunts, uncles,nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by one brother, Vernon Foster. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 11:00AM at the Bible Baptist Church on Harwood Hill in Bennington. There are no calling hours scheduled. Burial will take place privately by the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Harvest Christian Soup Kitchen, through the Mahar and Son Funeral Home
