Jeffrey Walter Day

March 3, 1949 — January 30, 2025

Jeffrey W. Day, 75 of Bennington, passed away at SVMC on January 30, 2025, surrounded by family and born on March 3rd, 1949, in Yakima, WA. The son of Edwin and Lois Day. Jeff’s younger years were spent on the West Coast, with his fondest memories of his life on Mercer and Bain Bridge Island.

Jeff moved to the East Coast, where he started his career at Union Carbide and retired. After retirement, he continued working for HBH Prestain in Arlington Monument Electric in Bennington.
One of his greatest enjoyments was fishing with family and friends. His fishing trips to Lake Ontario, Canada, and the Battenkill were memorable.

Jeff is predeceased by his parents and brother, Rory Day. He is survived by his partner in life of 45 years, Julie Rabideau, his brother Christopher Day, and his children Rory (Paula) Day, Tonya (Rich), Stallner, Sean Day, step-children BettyJo Harvey, Jason, and Jeremy Rabideau. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours per his request. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
