Jean Ann Dwyer

Jean Ann Dwyer 75, a resident of Bennington, Vermont passed away peacefully on April 15, 2024 at Bennington Health and Rehabilitation following a long illness. Born on August 24th, 1948 in Bennington, Vermont. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Jeanette (O’Brien) Watson. Jean was raised and received her early education in Bennington. She later attended Mt. Anthony Union High School in Bennington. Jean completed her high school education years after she attended school and graduated with the class of 2003, a feat she was very proud of. Jean worked for many years as a licensed nursing assistant at Crescent Manor Nursing Home and Bennington Health and Rehabilitation. Jean was an animal lover through and through. She especially enjoyed putting out food for the birds and squirrels, so she could watch them come and go. Jean also enjoyed playing bingo. Survivors include her children; Jeanne Domina, Anna Percey, John Castellano, Jeanette Velez and Alvah Thurber. Fifteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, a brother, two sisters, as well as many nieces and nephews. Jean is predeceased by a brother.
