Jay Edward Nellis, 59, a resident of Bennington, VT passed away on Monday September 5th, 2022. Jay was born on April 17th, 1963 in Buffalo, NY to the late James and Hattie (Pozdyn) Nellis. He grew up in Lockport, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Jimmy and Jeff and a sister, Jeanie. Jay is survived by his sister Justine Burke (Timothy) and his loving friends, Lenny Sr. and Lenny Jr. (April), Bonnie, Geraldine, Patty, Tom, Savannah and Shaun.

At this time, there will be no services for Jay. He will be interred in the family lot in Kentucky at the convenience of the family.
