James Howard Taylor

June 8, 1970 — February 1, 2022

James Howard Taylor, 51, a resident of Bennington, Vermont passed away unexpectedly on February 1st, 2022 at his parents' house in Pownal, Vermont.

He was born on June 8th, 1970 in Milford, Connecticut.
James married Malisa George on October 3rd, 2015 at his sister's home with family and close friends.
James most recently was employed as a Supervisor at Kaman Composites.

James was very good with his hands, and had a brain meant for understanding technology and computers. When he was still in Molly Stark grade school, he wrote a code for a dot printer that would print a perfect Santa Claus.

On his time off he frequently enjoyed spending time with nature. He loved metal detecting, kayaking, hiking and fishing. In younger years, he would go mining for quartz in Dorset, Vermont. He also loved spending time with his wife going on walks around town. They created a three mile loop in town that they frequently took. While walking, they both would look for "coins" and at the end of the loop, whoever had found the most would be given "bragging rights"- until their next walk.

James is survived by his loving wife Malisa, his mother, Sandra and stepfather, Walter Felladore; his sister, Molly Taylor. His children; Sophia Taylor, Erika Taylor and Jimmy Taylor. His step children; Michael George and Jessica King. Grandchildren; Gabriella and Jace. Step grandchildren; Ryu Wright and Trevet Julius. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

At this time, there will be no services for James. A memorial service for James will be announced at a later date, at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations in honor of James Howard Taylor can be made to the Turning Point Center of Bennington County, through the office of the E. P. Mahar and Son Funeral Home 628 Main St. Bennington, VT 05201.
