James Haley

James (Jim) Haley, 62, resident of Pownal, Vermont passed away on January 14, 2025.

Jim was born on January 23, 1962 to Russell and Lei Lani Haley (French) in North Adams, Massachusetts. He was one of four children. During his life, he worked independently as a carpenter. In his spare time, Jim enjoyed fishing, cooking, camping, and drinking a cold one.

Jim is survived by his five children: Maria Duprat-O’Dell, Rebecca Duprat, Amber Haley of Troy, NY, Leah Haley of Pownal, VT, and Russell Haley of Pownal, VT. Grandsons: Caleb and Anthony. His two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Alan Haley of North Carolina, Walter Callahan of Hoosick Falls, NY, and Clara Haley of Bennington, VT. Other survivors include his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends - Lynn, Laura, and Jessica Laurie.

At Jim’s request, no services will be held at this time. He only asked that you take a moment and remember him with a memory you shared – good or bad.
