He was born in Albany, NY April 11, 1950. He was the son of the late Joseph and Daisy (Wells) Cooper. Howard received his education in Cohoes, NY.
For many years Howard owned and operated his own blacktopping company, Cooper Paving in Glens Falls, NY.
He enjoyed music, dancing and reading the bible.
Survivors include a daughter, Jane R. Cooper of Carmel, NY, a son Vincent Cooper of Queensbury, NY. Several grandchildren. Two sisters, Jane Cooper and Tempey Cooper both of Bennington, VT. Along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was pre-deceased by a son Howard Cooper Jr.
Friends may call at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home on Friday November 5, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and then again on Saturday November 6, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
The burial will take place in the family lot at Park Lawn Cemetery on Monday November 8 at 11:00 a.m
